Prayer Requests

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21

It is my privilege to pray for the needs of others. Will you join me in this endeavor? If you have a request, whether for yourself, a friend, or a loved one, please leave a comment and let me know. I think you know me well enough to not be surprised by this request.

I'd appreciate a prayer for the woman I hurt yesterday. I've apologized to her, sincerely, and she can't forgive me. Please pray that she accepts my apology. I know not forgiving me is hurting her and I'd like her to put it to rest and feel some peace.

And if you could pray for my husband, Rob, that he finds just one hiring person who recognizes his worth and value. He's 62 years old and having a really hard time finding a job. He wants to work. He wants to provide for his family. He just needs one person to know that and be glad to offer him a job.

Thank you, Brenda. And know that I will never stop praying for your daughters. Never.

Hello Brenda,
I would ask prayer for myself and my children as we seek out a new church. We have been visiting one we think we may join but am still in prayer about it. We all need a new beginning.

Also My husband is not abiding by the Judges order to pay the full amount of support, he has basically set his own deal and I am going to have to go back to court with that.

I too am praying for you, where your daughters are concerned, Thanks Brenda.

Brenda, thank you for praying for Kevin and Angie in the past. Please pray that Kev will remain strong and that Satan will get no more of him ever. Please pray also that Angie will get a job with her new degree, in a medical office, preferably the hospital within walking distance of their apartment. Thank you!

Brenda,
Please include this prayer for little Cole, my pastor's son. He fell and hit the handle bar with his eye last night while riding his scooter. He is six years old and the sweetest thing you could ever meet. Right now he is in the hospital and won't stop throwing up. He has a concusion and will likely need surgery. He is also having trouble seeing. I am asking for immediate healing for him and for strength for his parents. Our pastor also has back surgery coming up in the next few days, so you can imagine how awful they must be feeling. Thanks for this place to present requests. God Bless, Susie

Thank you for this. Could you please continue to pray for Parker? That he might be able to gain weight. That he might be able to find the strength and desire to learn to crawl. And that we might be able to work out a way to pay for Parker's medical bills and needs and still be able to stay in our home.

Our family will keep you and yours in our prayers as well.

Brenda, I hope you dont mind if I leave a comment for Tammy and Parker here. We do Dave Ramsey Finances, and also a bit of Larry Burkett - Crown Financial Ministries. CFM can be found on the web and they man their phones daily. They have counselors available to give you financial advice. Dave Ramsey, in his books and conferences, says hospitals and doctors will take pennies on the dollar if you are able to pay that. They will count the rest as write-off, but it's worth talking to these two organizations to see what might be done to help you guys out from under the enormous burden of big medical bills. I phone CFM once and they were wonderful to deal with. Very compassionate, knowledgeable and helpful.

God let me to A Chelsea Morning today and found your prayer blog. I just got word that our friend Joe has brain cancer and it is spreading aggressively. Please wrap Joe and his family in prayer.

Our youngest son and his family are desperately wanting to move back home.
They have a home that they need to sell before they are able to do so. They have tried to sell it before but it is a small community with little buying/selling activity.
We have all tried to be patient and wait for God's time and His direction in this move. While it may be their desire it may not be God's plan.
He says he will give us the desire of our heart, so I ask prayer that His plan will unfold and if it is to be this move, that all things will come together...prayerfully soon.

Having family health issues with my father-in-law. Stress is eating away at us. We need God's guidance in taking care of him. He is being stubborn about taking meds and doing what the doctor says.
I need to be a better mother and wife.

I asked for prayer last week for Cole, my pastor's son. Praise God he is doing great. He did have eye surgery to repair the bone behind the eye he hurt. He is recovering at home and his vision is great. His dad's back surgery also went well. Thank you Brenda for allowing me to post here. Thanks also for everyone who prayed.

Hey Brenda, To let you know Amy is having a very difficult biopsy doen today, Brandon said many things hinge on the biopsy so I am praying and wanted to let you know.
Also I ask for prayer for me, My cardeologist a letter of recomendation to a gastric bypass surgeon for me to have the gastric bypass surgery. I feel good about it but I am waiting on approval to be able to move forward. Can you pray that happens? I need to get the weight off fast my heart is in stress. Thanks.

Please pray for Amanda and her new boyfriend Robbie. He seems to be a good person and wants to do right, he was raised Catholic but goes to the Luthern church down the road from their apartment and says he calls his mother every night to read a chapter in the bible. He feels lost and alone without the closeness of his own family even though he professes a strong bond/love for Amanda. He has not been able to find a job and Amanda is having to pay all of the bills which is putting a big burden on her. Others that have met him briefly think he might be into drugs. He told Bobby and I he realizes he needs to go to church more often but Amanda doesn't go and I think it's a real struggle for him to go alone.

On a lighter note, I do have a praise. Amanda was able to get a different job here at UAMS that is way less stressful than the other clinic she worked in and her boss is wonderful, hours are better and still no holiday or week end work.

Thank you and I will keep you and the girls in my prayers as well.
